FAQ

Our gowns start at €1300.
The final price depends on the level of customization, model complexity, and materials used.
Before booking an appointment, we kindly ask you to inquire about the price of specific designs that caught your attention.

We prefer communication via email.

Messages on Instagram sometimes get lost, and we don’t want to miss replying to anyone.

You can find our email and phone number in the Contact section.

Once we arrange a date, the bride visits our atelier for the first appointment.

We’ll have a coffee together, she’ll try on different silhouettes, and we’ll discuss every detail.

The meeting is free of charge and usually lasts around 1.5 hours.

There’s no limit to the number of dresses you can try.

Afterward, it’s entirely up to you whether you decide to choose your gown from our atelier.

Ideally 4–8 months before the wedding, to allow enough time for design and preparation.

Of course. We just kindly ask that you bring no more than three people with you.

We recommend wearing nude-colored underwear and minimal makeup.
You don’t need to bring shoes — we have fitting pairs available for you.
Our Bratislava atelier is easily accessible by public transport.

If you live far from Bratislava or abroad, we can condense the fitting process into a few days.
Brides often visit for 2–3 days, during which we take measurements, create the prototype, and start the base of your gown.
This way, additional fittings aren’t necessary.
We’re flexible and can arrange fittings over the weekend as well.
The final gown can be picked up in person or shipped to you before the wedding.

The creation of your gown takes approximately 4–8 months from the confirmation of the order.
If you’re short on time, we can occasionally create dresses in a shorter period, but we recommend keeping at least 6–8 weeks for possible adjustments.
Since we are a small atelier, we can only accept a limited number of custom-made gowns per season.
We usually deliver the finished gown well before the wedding, or according to mutual agreement.

Not necessarily.
If you decide to order your gown during your first visit, we can take all the measurements right away.

Typically 3–4 fittings are required.
However, for brides coming from abroad, we can arrange the fittings within a few consecutive days (for example, Friday to Sunday).

Yes, we do our best to accommodate every bride’s schedule.

Absolutely.
We can adjust the design according to your preferences — sleeves, lace choice, neckline variations, and more.

Yes, we love working on unique pieces.

We’ll discuss your ideas and create a personalized sketch.

Please note that we cannot replicate dresses from photos or other designers — every YOORA gown is an original creation.

Yes, if you wish to wear your gown after your wedding, we can redesign or restyle it into a new piece.

Your gown will be delivered in a breathable garment bag to protect it during transport.

We recommend storing the dress folded rather than hanging, to prevent the fabric from stretching.

Before the wedding, it can be easily refreshed using a steam iron.

Afterward, we suggest taking it to a trusted dry cleaner (please let them know the gown is handmade and crafted from natural fabrics).
